A comprehensive hearing test at NeuroHearing costs $125 and includes:

  • Detailed case history and lifestyle discussion – we chat about your lifestyle, working environment and any concerns related to your hearing.
  • Otoscopy– inspection of your ear canal and eardrum to check for obstructions or infections
  • Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA)– plays tones at various frequencies and volumes to determine your softest detectable sounds
  • Speech Testing– evaluates how clearly you understand speech
  • Tympanometry– assesses how your middle ear responds to air pressure changes, detecting issues like fluid buildup or perforations
  • Discussion of results – a full report and post-test discussion to advise on next steps.

Yes! Following your hearing appointment, you’ll be provided with a comprehensive hearing assessment report and personalised summary. This includes:
